The Campaign Registry (TCR) may decline your 10DLC registration for various reasons. We have compiled the most common ones and explained how to resolve them.
A compliant privacy policy is required on the website.
All message senders must have an acceptable Privacy Policy when registering 10DLC campaigns. If you receive this rejection reason, adjust your privacy to describe:
- How consumer data will be used and shared (if applicable)
- avoid using language that may improperly claim to have the consumer's consent to share end-user data with third parties for marketing purposes
- specifically, note that data will not be transferred among various organizations
- how consumers can contact the message sender
- how consumers can opt out of future communications
We recommend adding a section in your privacy policy specific to SMS and texting to cover these points.
Example:
DBA Name may use SMS texting to communicate with you. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. If you wish to be removed from receiving future communications, you can opt out by texting STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
