Brand verification is the first step in 10DLC registration. Convos checks your provided business information against information in the IRS. Ensure the information you submitted on the Phone # Registration form matches your EIN assignment letter.

Tips & Tricks

Review the section that lists name and address at the top of the letter. This is almost always two lines such as:,

NAME LINE 1

NAME LINE 2

123 MAIN ST

SPRINGFIELD, IL 55443

You should first enter the legal name as the first line of the name field (NAME LINE 1), which should work most of the time. In some cases, you will also need to enter the second line. This would look like - NAME LINE 1 NAME LINE 2.

You should omit any special characters that are part of the business name except hyphens (-) and ampersands (&).

Finally, if the EIN letter was issued in the last 90 days, there is a good chance it is not yet available in the IRS database. In this case, you'll need to wait for verification.

If you've submitted your 10DLC registration but the status has remained pending brand verification for more than 24 hours, send your EIN assignment letter to support@snappykraken.com, and our team will help you correct your submission or appeal the result.
